OVERVIEW:
Zrmanja and Krupa are among the most beautiful rivers in Europe: perfectly clear warm water, spectacular canyon with magnificent waterfalls. They are easy and safe enough for beginner rafters but their scenery makes them also very exciting. You will see many fish and birds and explore typical karst phenomenon – living travertine waterfalls. The trip begins in Kastel Zegarski, only one hour drive from Zadar. You will quickly learn how to paddle as you slowly enter the canyon. After the first hour of paddling down easy rapids you will – if time and weather permit – visit beautiful Krupa waterfalls and swim under them. More waterfalls and rapids wait for you as you continue down Zrmanja towards Muskovci where the trip ends. At the end of the trip, you can enjoy refreshments at a nearby restaurant or take a picnic on your own.
No previous rafting experience is needed so even children from 6 years of age, accompanied by parents, can participate. We use professional SOTAR rafting boats for max 8 people, with trained guide in each boat. You will get a life jacket, a paddle and a helmet, plus long neoprene suits and rain jackets in case of cold weather. Waterproof containers are available for personal items (camera, drinks, etc.). Don’t forget to bring shorts or a bathing suit, T-shirt, spare socks and sandals (or sport shoes), a towel, sun cream and water. In case of colder weather take a long-sleeved shirt.
Min 2 – max 30 people per group; larger groups are on request.

In the unlikely case of extreme weather conditions, Raftrek Adventure Travel will reschedule the activity for a day or two prior or after the date booked, if possible. If the rescheduling is not possible, the payments will be refunded in full.

Weather - the summers are typically warm and sunny. From May to October temperatures are comfortable for hiking, paddling and swimming. Rain is always a possibility in Croatia so it is essential to bring adequate rain wear and a jacket in case of inclement weather.
